We are entering a new era of home architecture and floor plans… gone is the strong popular desire for completely open concept homes.  Homeowners are now asking for more walls!

With advances in technology, more and more of the workforce is spending their day away from the corporate office.   Mobile technology has actually increased the need for private spaces where professionals can stay connected to their companies and clients without interference from others around them.  Almost half of my current buyer client base is asking for a private office space in their new home.  (I also have a lot of families planning ahead and searching for split levels or other floor plans that offer living on separate levels as both kids and parents get older.)
